Come on down to the Embarcadero this Saturday and join Zepaltas Wines and friends for a killer tasting of Pork and Pinot Noir.

Featured in the San Francisco Chronicle last weekend. In case you didn't know, I make the Wines for Suacci Carciere Wines too. Glad to see that the wines are getting good recognition out there.

Wine writer, sommelier and all-around cool guy Randy Caparoso came through town recently to talk Pinot Noir from the Sebastopol Hills area.

Well it is official... the last fruit is in house and 2009 vintage is over.......We just brought in the Rosella's Vineyard Syrah and it is cold soaking away.

So we spent an afternoon with my fellow winemakers Kevin Kelley & Justin Lattanzio tasting our wines from the last 3 vintages at the W.E.Bottoms Vineyard.

OK, now that I am officially one of these blogger guys, I now hold the license to be an expert on anything I choose!

My prediction for the game is:

So it looks like we are about to kick it into gear starting next week. With the heat making fruit surge ahead, we should be knee deep in harvest in just a few days.
