Posted Ryan Zepaltas - 9 Dec, 2010
As you may or may not know, I am the winemaker for Suacci Carciere Wines. I just want to say congrats to them for being voted one of the best wines of 2010 according to the San Francisco Chronicle's Jon Bonne'. It has been a great time working with John Suacci and Andy Carciere since they started in 2006. They are great guys and deserve the applause!

“This tiny Sebastopol label doesn't actually use its own vineyard for this serious, focused wine, relying instead on the Heintz site in Occidental. Winemaker Ryan Zepaltas coaxed out a rich lemon-curd profile, with scents of mace, dried hay and Bosc pear. Astoundingly fresh and vibrant, full of mouthwatering apple flavors.” —San Francisco Chronicle, December 2010
